The outbreak of Ebola virus disease in Africa has caused severe infection to 2,000 people, and the epidemic situation of this deadly disease seems to keep spreading. China government has therefore launched the emergency humanitarian aid to assist Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone and other countries in West Africa.
This USD 14.295 million supply includes medicine, medical masks, medical protective clothes, medical gloves…, etc. And the total weight is around 78 tons.
Being a medical glove company with high social responsibility, Motex also feels obliged to contribute itself to the relief effort. We offered our support for 360 cartons of latex surgical gloves and 600 cartons of latex examination gloves, which worth around RMB 700,000. The supply was already dispatched by a chartered plane from China on August 10th to prevent the infection from more serious spreading.We hope that Motex can be a part of helping Africa people fight for Ebola virus, and we also encourage more and more companies to join the relief.
