As per the American ASTM standards, the total particulate content of powder-free medical gloves should be equal to or lower than 2 milligrams per glove.

Polyurethane, a coating material widely used in medical gloves, is easily plasticized by moisture in the air, causing issues such as stickiness on the inner surface or internal stickiness of the product. Additionally, medical gloves with high particulate levels may hinder wound healing and increase the risk of medical complications.
